Interconnected Journeys

Caitlin Jean, Futurist, Australia, had her name on a  Peace Declaration  with some  very notable people  from around the world before she turned two. I only just realised that this declaration was the second promise I had collected, so it is now on the promise club site. For the children of the world to see.

I am so very proud to be part of the   Alliance for the New Humanity.  

From this connection I was connected to so many wonderful people like Peter Okilo, who among other things, is a IT guru and a member of the International Board of the Promise Club. Not only has he just sent the  most wonderful promise,  I know he will keep, he also dedicated one of his poems called Universal Humanity, to The Promise Club, the children of the world and to this very proud Granma. (I have been waiting for ages for his bio, but its says a lot about the man, when he has the time to write this very special promise which he see as far more important then his bio) thank you Peter! You make me know we are on the same interconnected journey…

Caitlin has now taken another step on her life journey - she has started school. So keen was she that for days before she wore her uniform around the house. The photo sent to me was of her in the backyard all dressd ready for school with her five fingers up, (letting me know she had five more sleeps till school.) she is so small yet her brain is so advanced and amazes me with what she already knows.

I looked at the photo and though, again we have no idea what lies ahead, but she is starting with the right attitude she loves it.

My week has also been another step on my life journey, different - yet still interconnected with Caitlin's journey.

 The Wailing  is coming along fine and I am happy to say that I now have another Caitlin, this one from Codepink will join the wailing as she says in "Wells, Gorey, County Wexford, Ireland---but I might go to Dublin and do this with some friend in a more public place on the 8th. I need to verify time differences, but we'll be wailing and keening here in Eire. Peace & Solidarity!"

Hileria from Victoria will start to wail each Friday first by herself and then later with friends. She sent this little message

Codepink headquarters, has now put a story about the wailing on their website.

From the story on Sydney Indymedia, a few closed minded blogs, have picked up the story and even if they think it is stupid and left wingish …… they are helping to spread the word.

I only had to read the Peace Declaration, Caitlin and I are part of to know - the sort of teachers I wish for Caitlin.
