Creative Minds in Yingge

Today was a day to feed my soul

As we walk through the door

Of the Contemporary Ceramic Museum in Yingge

Opened in 2000 to preserve the history

Of this Pottery capital dating back 200 years

Showing the forward thinking of the local Mayor

Old Pottery Street displays so well

Household pottery, art pottery, construction ceramics

The very finest Asian china

Bathroom ceramics, sculptures in clay and stone

Little trinkets through to giant water fountains

Winding cobble streets each shop unique

Showing their own style and glazes

One thing is very clear

Creative minds are the same anywhere.
