My Favorite Words

Caitlin, how do I tell you

What I am feeling today

Standing on this stage in Taipei

My sweetie, you would love it here

Five VIP’s wearing white gloves wait

For me to ask a question

"Will they promise to work

To make it a better world for you

And each and every child"

To ask the question is one thing

To have them and 99 families below

Answer as One Mind One Voice

Cut the ribbon release the balloons

Now floating in the sky

Each trailing behind a message

A message of peace to the world

To hear them answer loudly

"Yes we do"

Caitlin I now want to tell you

These three little words are no doubt

The best I will ever hear

They fill me with so much HOPE

That a promise to you and all children

Is a promise - I know I can keep
