Just another Typhoon

Typhoon comes-Typhoon goes

The second in the last two weeks

The wind very strong, the trees still bend

Some even lying in the street

Waiting to be cleared away so quickly

So the city can continue

Taipei is spared, down south was more in its path

Hong Kong now waits in fear

Of the Typhoon that passed in the night

Me tucked up asleep in my bed

Isolated behind hotel fixed glass walls

Only when I finally venture outside

Do I know how lucky we have been
