Sea of Signs

So many cars, so many bikes

They are almost forgotten

As I look down the street

Into the sea of signs

Some might call this ugly

I would just call it Taipei

A place of many people

Patient and dignified

A land of ancient culture

Fine food and history

Tec-knowledge and street stalls

Lots to see and buy

The sea of signs I can't read

But know what they mean

Life just goes on and on
